400 miles of 36" Diameter Pipeline Mobile, AL to Manatee County, FL

The marine portion of this 744-mile, 1.1 billion cubic feet per day system originates near Mobile, AL and crosses the Gulf of Mexico with more than 400 miles of 36-inch diameter pipeline to Manatee County, FL. This system resulted in a pipeline route which sought the least environmental impact while still meeting the needs of the customers and markets. 

 More than 150 agencies and environmental groups were contacted and more than $7 million on environmental surveys and related work to ensure that its filing with the FERC was comprehensive and complete. PCS was selected to provide services for the feasibility study, FERC, MMS and State permitting, route selection and survey, detail engineering, design and project management for the offshore portion consisting of over 400 miles of 36-inch diameter pipeline.
